This isn’t a “goodbye”, only a “see you later”

The last year and a half of my life has been filled with more ups and downs than I was prepared to deal with. My job changed and changed again and I finally gathered the courage to deal with my long battle with major depression and a thyroid condition called Graves’ Disease.

I really appreciate how supportive all of your have been through my many months of blogging. I have met great friends and drew strength from amazing people living their lives in the best way they knew how. Thanks guys!

My life is going through another round of major changes right now and I was finally forced to admit that blogging and completely turning my life inside out again isn’t very compatible. I know some people are able to blog through giving birth and moving countries and major life accomplishments and tragedies, but I am more of a “one big thing at a time” kind of girl.

So…I will be officially taking two or three months off from blogging. I am not walking away from this amazing community completely, but I need to take some time to focus on caring for myself and getting my life back on track. I’m not saying “goodbye”, just “see you later”!

I will still be periodically checking my email and notifications and blog hopping (because I just can’t stay away). I’m looking forward to coming back with a renewed sense of purpose and a ton of great ideas for The Cyborg Knight take two. Thanks guys!

  1. Thanks so much with sharing what you’re dealing with <3. I know what you mean with doing one big thing at a time and I think I'm the same way. Although I'll miss you, I do wish you luck with your endeavors and I look forward to seeing your posts back on my feed!

  2. We’ll miss you! I know how it feels. I tend to zone in on one thing at a time and sometimes blogging just isn’t there for me. And I’m pretty sure I didn’t do anything creative or social when I was buying a house last year.

Take care of yourself and enjoy the spring!
